As an NHS healthcare provider, we support the ambitions of the NHS Net Zero programme and are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations while continuing to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care.
We believe sustainability should be embedded within how healthcare services are designed, delivered and managed. This includes reducing unnecessary travel, supporting digital innovation, promoting responsible procurement, improving operational efficiency and encouraging environmentally responsible behaviours throughout the organisation.
Henmore Health has therefore adopted a Carbon Reduction and Net Zero Commitment which provides the framework for our environmental sustainability programme and long-term ambitions.

Governance and Accountability
Oversight of sustainability and environmental commitments is provided through Henmore Health's governance framework, including Board-level oversight and review through the Standards Committee.

Our Target
Henmore Health supports the NHS ambition to achieve Net Zero Carbon and aspires to align its operational activities with the wider NHS net zero target for supply chain and influenced emissions by 2045.
